Preparation: Preparing yellow lotus tea is very simple. Steep 5 to 10 grams of dried petals in a cup of hot water for 5-10 minutes. The yellow lotus tea becomes slightly bitter if steeped for a long time. To improve the taste of the tea, you can add honey or lemon. You can also prepare a lotus chai by adding spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves or ginger.
Storage: To enjoy the full aroma, edible flowers should be stored away from light, in a cool (6 - 15°C) and dry place!
